The schedule is fine, but for some of us it's difficult to do independent workouts in the lane used for open swim during open swim time because it is often occupied by lap swimmers. Also many of the regulars, and I'm one, would really like to be able to swim during the winter at least two or three times a week with an open swim format so some of us could practice our exercises as well. Sedona has many people suffering from a variety of physical problems eg arthritics/bad backs etc which are best helped by a water workout. The pool is heated anyway and most of those with whom I talked would not mind paying a dollar a visit more to pay the life guard. At lease we could try it for a month to see if people would use it. It's a shame for those of us who pay taxes to have to travel to Cottonwood to swim.
