Just found out today about Amy's death...I'm stunne!!. She was a beautiful soul. I had the pleasure of meeting her through a friend & I stayed at her home around 8 or 9 years ago. At that time, she was healthy, working, and sharing her gifts of her love for nature, psychology, soul journeys, sweat tent spiritual journeys, her spiritual life and work. She was so giving and loving and evolved and so generous with her time and offering herself to make my stay with her so meaningful and wonderful. I was just about to contact her and introduce a family member to her, so they could connect, as I felt Amy had so much to offer in terms of healing and spiritual richness. My heart goes out to Amy and her family and friends. Glad to know that Chasta was being cared for,....as Amy loved her dog so much. God Bless Amy and it is my hope that she is in a better place now. Love you, Amy (sorry I lost contact with you). Good bye for now, Carole (from CA)

For those who knew Amy Beth - Amy Beth Davis' body has been discovered. She has dropped her robe. There is finally closure for friends and family. My prayers and deepest sympathy goes out to family and friends. She was a wonderful being who shared and gave to those she touched. She shared her gifts with our Earth Dance8 family years ago, her leather work, drum songs, and smiling face. Amy Beth you will be remembered as you were. May you find peace where you are now.

Search efforts continued today without success. Deputies remain in contact with family and friends eager for any leads as to Davis’ whereabouts. Her dog, “Chasta,” is in the care of a friend.

Clarification --- Deputies last contacted Davis on Thursday morning, September 12, 2013, during a welfare check requested by a friend. Davis told the deputy she was fine and he referred her to a counseling professional. Davis completed a phone conversation with the counselor in the deputy’s presence with no other indications she was at risk. Davis also agreed to meet with her concerned friend later that day but never did.

After 8 PM, deputies returned to the Davis home at her friend’s request, but she was not there. Deputies searched the neighborhood and Oak Creek area, but could not find her.

On Friday (September 13), the ground search continued and intensified over the weekend with the aid of search and rescue teams and helicopter flyovers. It was Friday when deputies were notified a resident had taken backpack home they found near Oak Creek the previous day. Deputies examined the contents and confirmed the property belonged to Davis. The search was then concentrated in the area where the backpack had been found, but no additional clues were discovered.

Yesterday, deputies continued ground search efforts looking for clues in the Oak Creek area where water levels were now subsiding. This operation continued today, Tuesday, without any sign of Davis. YCSO continues to encourage calls from any with information on Davis’ whereabouts.
