I can see both sides of this issue and hopefully I’m not alone. Fortunately Gail and Ray there are many alternatives available for your enjoyment. There are west flagstaff area forest roads and parks that would be fine for your needs, and Cottonwood has several parks and lots of wide flat roads. Locally try Beaverhead Flats Road or Jacks Canyon roads. Walking is always best on Sedona trails as speed isn’t a friend. Good riding.

We are 76 and 84 years old and due to health issues we are unable to hike or ride normal bicycles.
We recently acquired electric bikes and really enjoy riding in places with a minimum of car traffic.
I am very disheartened that the national trails in Sedona excludes electric bicycles.
We both have disability placards for our vehicles.
I have discussed this with park rangers at Bell Rock trail system to no avail.
