An open minded reader most likely will appreciate the integrity of an editor and/or reporter who isn’t afraid to allow equal time to subjects of issues. Those who don’t, in my opinion, are shallow cowards and do little, if anything, to uphold the integrity of journalism. Ultimately, does anyone benefit from hiding in the shadows?
By all means, “get it out”. The other choice for readers is obvious. Change publications.
