Dear Jim, I am so sorry you cant comprehend anything I write, thats ok, you are old and set in your ways…

Its not a matter of comparing anything, see? Its so very simple a child could figure it out!
Every single time one of our local crack pots, sets there hair on fire claiming Sedona is corrupt or something is against the law I simply point out it happens locally, or nearby, or most places in the country…..Thats all plain and simple….

I am a tax payer just like you……One exception, Im not a old angry man who see’s the glass half empty!

I see the ” dreaded bed tax ” as a fee charged to those who stay overnight in this city……Im not full of hate, so the city decides it wants the Chamber to do marketing for them…..No big conspiracy….Is it MY tax money?…..Well no I cant say that….But for some perverse reason many here think its there money?….Strange, even a bit deranged in my book?

I guess if I hated everyone, everything, and thought I could take my money when i died, maybe I would see things differently? Who knows?

I am no fan of war, yet my tax money goes to killing innocent woman and children all across the world…Those drones sure do a smash up job killing anything in there way!…..I try and not focus on the evils of the world….Seams like there is far to much hate just in this little city…..

But thats ok……I still will look at the glass half full, and show that Sedona is no different than Cottonwood , or Phoenix…….

Bed tax, is bed tax…..Its not my money, my power is in my vote…..Kinda simple really….

If I wanted to live in Phoenix I would. Would you PLEASE stop comparing sedona to phoenix @west sedona dave. I don’t like phoenix metro. Millions of people rat race. THAT is why I spent more on my house here in Sedona then what I could get down there. Give it a break. You’ll never change my mind that you are the benefactor of TAXPAYERS money.

West Sedona Dave grows dumber by the minute. His citations are all in reference to the State of Arizona – and not Phoenix. Big difference. However, this, what did someone else write, “Pick of the Litter?” (Best of the Litter) wouldn’t understand because he believes it’s perfectly OK for the City of Sedona to fund the entire Verde Valley with Sedona City tax revenue.

Big difference you stupid idiot – Federal, State, County, or City/Town funding – and you really don’t get it? And just who needs to take a refresher (better yet beginner’s) course in Government 101.

Read your own words – “ARIZONA Sports and Tourism Authority” NOT City of Phoenix Sports and Tourism Authority.

City Council and Staff using city funding for a “regional” Chamber of Commerce to promote their members should be held personally responsible for all negative results past, present and future. Very damaging to environment, quality of life, and promoting dangerous conditions such as peril in the event of wildfires. Very generous they are to allow the chamber of commerce to use city money however they choose.

The point is, as the AZSTA mission statement clearly states “enhances our economy and our community’s quality of life.” More tourist traffic to Sedona will in no way enhance the community’s quality of life. It may make the tourist business a few more dollars, but even that is questionable as after tourists are stuck in bumper to bumper traffic they probably will never return. If Sedona had bumper to bumper traffic when I first came over 25 years ago, I would have never returned.

I wanted to Thank the city council for approving the entertainment are, 401 Jordan Rd, and Schnebly hill. Then on top of that Thank them for writing that new community plan that takes Sedona to a new and horrible place.
We need to thank the City staffer for making Sedona everything it is not , according to the vision statement.
Sedona is the now the disneyland for day trippers. City Council created a problem so now they can say how great they are to fix it. You can’t fix stupid. Stupid leadership with fat axx egos. RECALL them
