My wife met his wife in military housing and we all became good friends. Rick was definitely going through some pretty brutal things to cause him to act that way maybe be substance abuse issues. I wish I could post a picture so people can see what type of guy Rick was that would display him in a different manner. I can give a mental image we went to Coronado Beach our kids were very young and he was trying to make the kids laugh so he covered himself in seaweed just to make them giggle. Rick was a good dude I am sorry that this was the last image people got to see of him and I am sorry for the traumatic situation that involved that couple. I myself have PTSD but see all of the required medical professionals to make sure my stays treated. Cleary Rick was not seeking the correct type of treatment and was as stated going through some serious issues but please from someone who knew Rick understand that this is not who Rick is or was.
