That's why we chose to retire to Sedona's Village, Carolina girls. Next time you come to Sedona, stay in the Village of Oak Creek on Highway 179 where the lights hit the road and not the sky. We recommend Desert Flour for coffee and pastry and the Thai restaurant for dinner. Many Sedonans drive to Red Chopsticks for dinner also. Desert Quail & Wildflower offer inexpensive and clean rooms but there's always the chain Hilton or B&B's. My wife likes the new coffee shop Posse Grounds after seeing it advertised on this site, but I don't like change so Desert Flour is fine. The restaurant Cuchina Rustica is the place to go for a really memorable dinner. Just seeing that restaurant lit up in the evening is nice. The Village is walkable so park your rental, stow the keys under our dark starry sky Sedona address.

Pauline Rose,

Reading your comments brought back memories. I have been coming to Sedona for 18 years and when we finally moved here seven years ago, our journey was over. There is something to do for everyone and we are surrounded by boundless natural beauty. Some of us, after moving here, start taking it all for granted and your comments re-awakened the reasons why we moved here. Thank you for helping us re-focus and see what we are blessed with in this enchanting area.

And you are also right about the Coffee Pot Restaurant,,,have been going there since they opened almost 20 years ago and they excell consistantly in good food and oustanding service...one of the reasons why several years ago they were featured on the Food Channel as one of the best restaurants in AZ.

Thank you for sharing!
