Is this an article or an editorial? It's hard to tell with the Sedona Times.

Mayor Adams needs time for the community to make a decision? It's been four years. How much time is needed? Yes, the four new council members were elected on this issue. Let's see them act.

Bye Bye, budget surplus! Hello property tax.

Dear Sedona Times,

May I compliment Tommy Acosta on the clear and informative article about the proposed
and unwanted lights on 89A going into Sedona....... The dark skies program has been
promoted for some time, as I understand it, and perhaps should have been made part of the
Sedona legal statutes governing what type of lights would NOT negatively dilute the beautiful
dark skies. I came from a very rural area in Flemington NJ, and as the area grew-- the street
lighting increased, and one could NO LONGER SEE THE NIGHT SKY! I had previously been able
to actually view the Northern Lights in the sky behind my house and above the hill in my yard,
but that was no longer possible when I left in 2005!. So I do have an idea of what they are
talking about with dark skies, and city lights DO actually delete the stars and moon to an enormous
degree, and in some places totally deleted.
