If your single and living alone, it makes sense to have some type of defense. I prefer a gun as a bullet travels a lot faster than 911.

Peep hole in the door, motion detector light by the door, and tell friends to call ahead if they are coming over. If I’m not expecting company or I don’t know who is at the door when I look through, the door stays shut and I watch the person until they leave. Unfortunately that is the world we now live in and you should have some means of protecting yourself left at each door and windows too. It’s just sad!!

That’s horrible! My doorbell rang tonight around 9:30 and when I answered it nobody was there. I will not answer it at night again!
