There is no such thing as equality. You can never have equality when you deem one race(blacks) more important than others. Hate crime laws are so dumb and dangerous. You are attempting to police thought. The action is all that should matter. Once you start policing thought it gets to be a slippery slope and then you find yourself in a place like Nazi Germany Nearly every crime is a hate crime. Last week some guy vandalized a courthouse because he felt he was wronged by the government. Well, his hatred for the government is the motivation behind the crime. So why isn’t he charged with a hate crime?
