The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office is able to confirm the identification of the victims of the recent fatal accident that occurred on Forest Service Road 300 this past weekend. The deceased have been identified as:

Reymond V Martinez, 37 years of age from Phoenix, AZ
Enrique Lopez, 38 years of age from Phoenix, AZ
Abraham Javier Rodriquez Delgado, 17 years of age from Chandler, AZ
Manuel Ladislao Bracamonte, 36 years of age from Glendale, AZ

The vehicle crash and deaths are still under investigation by the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office and the Coconino County Public Health Services District Medical Examiner’s Office.

The Coconino National Forest (Flagstaff AZ) and firefighters on the Platypus Fire were saddened to learn of the ATV accident on the Mogollon Rim this weekend that resulted in the loss of four lives.

Public information regarding the accident and the September Fire, burning on the Tonto and Coconino National Forests, is being handled through the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office and the Tonto National Forest.

We extend our deepest condolences to the victims’ families and loved ones, and are holding them in our hearts and prayers.

The TFR Flight Restrictions are still in place in the area of the Blue Ridge ATV accident and fire. First responder air craft are still in the area and need the air space clear for them to continue their efforts, including our flights for body recovery efforts. We will let you know when the flight restrictions have been lifted.

Special Attention: If you were the media that did fly in the area, please understand that you probably have footage of a very sensitive nature. We ask that out of courtesy of the victims’ families, you not show footage that may have the victims in it.
