Maintenance work to remove debris from the shoulders on State Route 89A (mileposts 335 to 342) has begun and will continue until Thursday, Nov. 7, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Crews began today at the top of Mingus Mountain and will work toward Jerome. Work hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. SR 89A will be reduced to one lane and crews will direct traffic through the work zone in alternating directions.
