Arizona Department of Transportation will complete paving on Interstate 17 at the new traffic interchange at Munds Park.

Through Saturday, June 15, drivers can expect lane restrictions and ramp closures from dawn to dusk as crews complete paving work. The following restrictions will be in place from Wednesday through Saturday:
Northbound on and off-ramp closures, Wednesday (June 12)
Northbound I-17 right-lane closures Thursday (June 13)
Southbound I-17 left-lane closures (June 14)
Northbound I-17 left-lane closures (June 15)
Next week, June 17-21, crews will have short-term daytime lane restrictions for final cut-ins and clean-up work.

The $10 million improvement project included reconstructing the southbound and northbound I-17 bridges and ramps, and the realignment of Pinewood Boulevard beneath I-17. ADOT replaced two 25-foot long bridges that were built in 1958 and constructed two new 100-foot long bridges. The new interchange will provide room for future widening of I-17 and will enhance safety for drivers and pedestrians.
