ADOT advises there will be no construction closures along Valley freeways over Memorial Day weekend
May 26-29, 2017.

While there are no construction closures along Valley freeways over Memorial Day weekend, keep the following in mind:

Restrictions for current projects may still be in place
Check your vehicle, including the tire pressure
Get some rest before traveling – fatigue is a serious safety risk
Never drive while impaired – arrange for a designated driver in advance
Allow extra travel time and be prepared for unscheduled closures
Buckle up and obey speed limits
Avoid distractions – don’t text while driving
Pack extra supplies, including drinking water and snack foods.

Drivers should be aware of the following restrictions this weekend:

Southbound Interstate 17 closed between Indian School Road and Grant Street from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday

Westbound Interstate 10 narrowed to one lane between Estrella Parkway and Perryville Road in Goodyear from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday

Eastbound Interstate 10 narrowed to one lane between Perryville and Citrus roads in Goodyear from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday
