Yavapai County and the Verde Valley are role models in flattening the curve. HOW? We have done little to no testing. We have a lot of tests coming in now. Wait for those results before we rush to May 15th since we are all so focused on health. It is the correct choice.

All of Yavapai County has tested 2339 ppl out of 230,000 residents. 16 today for the Blitz Campaign!!! That gives an false illusion of safety!!!

https://azdhs.gov/preparedness/epidemiology-disease-control/infectious-disease-epidemiology/covid-19/dashboards/index.php

Click on Yavapai map area for specifics. All % positives are incorrect. Data is flawed.

Joint statement from Verde Valley politicos. Why not a joint statement for testing?

We are very happy for the two week extension and even longer if the Governor feels it's necessary.

It's unfortunate for Sedona because our trail heads are swarming with careless visitors who don't seem to give a hoot about following the distance rule. Neighbors who also have a home in California told us they were ordered to leave the State - that all government buildings (among other facilities) are closed in many places in and around L.A. Thus possibly at least one of the reasons for so many CA license plates.

We don't want or need you here spreading your germs in our restaurants and other businesses. Keep things shut down. Let them go back to where they came from!

Gov. Ducey extended his stay-at-home order statewide through May 15, but said he will allow a few nonessential retail businesses to reopen with health guidelines. The governor said there are signs the spread of the new virus has slowed in the state, but there’s no clear indication that deaths and new cases are trending down.

A few retail businesses will open Monday using curbside and delivery service or with inside appointments, and will completely reopen by the end of next week if they take steps to allow social distancing.

Restaurants will not reopen dining rooms before May 12 and with limitations.

FACTCHECK.ORG

Former Vice President Joe Biden was wrong when he said that the Trump administration made no effort to get U.S. medical experts into China as the novel coronavirus epidemic spread there early this year.

“[W]hen we were talking … early on in this crisis, we said — I said, among others, that, you know, you should get into China, get our experts there, we have the best in the world, get them in so we know what’s actually happening,” Biden, the front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination, said at a CNN virtual town hall on March 27. “There was no effort to do that.”

Except that isn’t the case.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention tried to get into China just one week after China reported the outbreak to the World Health Organization on Dec. 31, 2019.

“On January 6, we offered to send a CDC team to China that could assist with these public health efforts,” Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar said at a Jan. 28 press conference. “I reiterated that offer when I spoke to China’s Minister of Health on Monday, and it was reiterated again via the World Health Organization today. We are urging China: More cooperation and transparency are the most important steps you can take toward a more effective response.”

More than a week later, Azar said again at a Feb. 7 press conference that “our longstanding offer to send world-class experts to China to assist remains on the table.”

At the time, the New York Times reported, “Normally, teams from the agency’s Epidemic Intelligence Service can be in the air within 24 hours.”

The Biden campaign did not respond to our requests for comment.

A team of public health experts from the WHO was allowed by Chinese authorities to visit Wuhan, where the outbreak began, later in February, according to the South China Morning Post. The team included specialists from the United States as well as Germany, Russia, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and Nigeria....

Cover your own friggin' nose and mouth. Better yet, just stay home and cower like a good little sheep.

This a hoax. The so-called "test" is totally bogus ( watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BvLx17NNlu0&t=1s ) and people who died of anything are being falsely categorized as a virus death.

TV footage of overcrowded hospitals and lines are staged. Ordinary people around the country are filming empty hospitals without lines. Watch: https://youtu.be/5pIMD1enwd4

@adriana seriously?? your grasp on this quarantine is a beef with someone owning salons? listen dear there are salon owners here that need those dollars and no one owns enough salons to get mega rich on if that's your inference, they work harder than you because they are business owner operators on their feet all day working with chemicals and ungrateful people like you. Golf courses are like walking in your yard dearie because you play by yourself for most part and can social distance greater than 6 ft for rest of it. You want to go play go play because that course is not a track of housing blight but a beautiful soothing greenspace. Appreciate it for the birds and animals that your house prevents them from having.
