Read this in another comment and think it's why Sedona kept smart meters from taking over the city until this council was seated. What is the latest numbers on keeping smart meters off Sedona houses? Who coordinates the education of Sedona and VOC residents and corporations like before? Marriott has taken off Sedona without any checks and balances because this council is weak on controls. Did smart meters go up on all new buildings? Here's that piece of interesting information from somebody else on the Sedona that this council and the one before it created:

The National Citizen Survey “Sedona, AZ Community Livability Report 2017” found 57 percent of residents were opposed to growth in “Tourism (i.e., hotels, restaurants).” Traffic congested Sedona has new hotels and restaurants anyway, and more are proposed.

Under GOVERNANCE the following 5 out of 9 comparisons lagged below the nation benchmark: Overall direction; Confidence in City government; Acting in the best interest of Sedona; Being honest; and Treating all residents fairly.
