livestock animals are outside creatures that don’t need shelter from the elements, they do need access to proper grazing and water or roaming and hunting grounds.

If mankind interferes with their natural processes, then they need to substitute proper actions to compensate. They do need to be treated humanely, but they aren’t humans.

Gov Ducey vetoed legislation that enabled organizations to kill animals for profit and to kill them in horrific mass killing situations. Surprised that he vetoed this bill, but overwhelmingly happy that he did it. A note to him expressing our appreciation will notify him that there is a group of activists who can/do make a difference. (This link will contact the Governor about HB 2150 or any other issue.)

Great news! Governor Ducey has vetoed HB 2150, the bill that would have dramatically weakened protections for horses and farm animals.

I wanted to get the news to you right away — thanks to you and thousands of other dedicated animal advocates across the state, Governor Ducey has just vetoed HB 2150!

This terrible legislation would have stripped millions of horses, pigs, cows and chickens of important protections while barring cities or counties from enacting stronger anti-cruelty regulations.

The factory farm operators are incredibly powerful in Arizona. But you just showed them and their lobbyists that the power of compassion can triumph. If you have a moment, please send a quick thank-you note to Governor Ducey.

I have never lived in a state that show no feelings towards animals . you can drive down roads with animals having no sheter from the sun or wind why is this allow in this state ? but when this state has a man like clint hickman in an office and backing hb2150 for his family to make more money ,no matter how this will be on his chickens ,cause he sure don’t care about the people he is hurting with his chicken factorys!!!! it is all about the bottom line to these people not the animalsor the people of az.
