The ADOT spokesman said that irrespective of the studies outcome ADOT would retain ownership of the highway. The mayors of the cities where the highway traverses had the courage to stand up against the route transfer because of their concerns about the expense of maintaining a major highway going through their towns.]]></description>

Now comes this headline 7/30/11 on Sedona Eye: &quot;ADOT Will Not Transfer Grand Avenue.&quot; Grand Avenue is then clearly identified as &quot;part of the federal highway system also known as U.S. 60&quot; . 

This exercise in observing two versions of reporting on the exact same subject  illustrates the blatant deviation from reality contained in the 6/9/11 report as compared to accurate information.
