					<description><![CDATA[Hassayampa Rest Area near Wickenburg will be closed for maintenance work in June for two weeks.  Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead.                    

Motorists traveling on US 60 should be aware that the Hassayampa rest area, located six miles south of Wickenburg will be closed for approximately two weeks for septic maintenance and pavement work starting Monday, June 3, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The work is part of a $1.2 million improvement project is scheduled to be completed by the end of June.

The work at the Hassayampa rest area is part of a statewide rest area rehabilitation program that will occur over the next several years. ADOT is investing $17.4 million to repair and refurbish the infrastructure of 16 rest areas across the state, including the Marble Canyon rest area jointly owned by ADOT and the National Park Service.]]></description>
