I’d say it’s the work of the same “firm” that “designed” the City’s poll about the lights. IMO that it is preposterous to me that a state regulatory agency is asking stake holders, who generally have no engineering knowledge how to solve various traffic and transportation issues. What a joke. It’s easy to see why AZs’ progress in turning over state routes that run through cities and towns, lags behind other states.

YET, when a community overwhellmingly does not want or need street lights, they don’t care, they shove them down our throats. It’s OK with them(ADOT) to destroy our dark skies.

I don’t believe ADOT wants any feedback. They’re going to do what they want to do anyway.
