There is still a international criminal tribunal considering forcing the US to release information because people from 80 countries were killed that day. Hold off on the twisted metal until we get answers.

Scott has done an amazing job on this committee. I think the person who commented above but did not leave their name should be ignored. If you believe in something or your words, you should be willing to put your name on it. I lived through 911 in NYC and think this is a great gesture of respect to the families and people who were there or lost loved ones. It is voluntary donations.

The United States of America was blindsided and gut-punched that day we lost so many. The images we saw over and over again still haunt our nightmares. I don’t believe any local issues should cast an even greater shadow across our landscape and every memorial should be shown the greatest possible support and all due reverence. Foolishly enough, I thought the Memorial Plaza might serve to unite us.

As an elected member of the Sedona City Council, Scott Jablow has a lot of nerve asking money for this since he is one of the six on the council that ignored vast public response to drop the issue of city control over our garbage pickup.

Yes, this is a wonderful thing to be doing. However, putting legitimate Sedona residents at unknown and potential financial obligations and then asking for contributions? Get a grip, Mr. Jablow. The only honorable councilman that could see the light at that last city council meeting was Mark DiNunzio as he clearly acknowledged the will of the people.

Sorry to put it this way, but continue to go against the will of the people you will not get one penny from me and this definitely is something I would have contributed to. Sorry Mr. Jablow. You can vote against the public and force them into some things but at the same time consider you might be killing the spirit of voluntary participation. Shame on you.
