Water Awareness Month begins with League of Women Voters Breakfast

The League of Women Voters Sedona-Verde Valley is having a kick-off Water Awareness Month Breakfast on Wednesday, March 31, from 8 – 10 a.m. at The Old Sedona Bar & Grill, 1405 West Hwy, 89A, Sedona, AZ.  The cost is $10, payable at the door.  The breakfast will be honoring Dorothy Hores, deceased, who was an active member of the League of Women Voters Sedona-Verde Valley and responsible for leading the public discussion of water issues in Northern Arizona.  Barbara Litrell will be speaking about Dorothy and her passion for the issue, and former State Senator, Tom O’Halleran will be speaking about the Verde River Basin Partnership.  Please RSVP to the breakfast by Monday, March 22 to Fran Levengood, 928-554-4509.
