Warrant Issued for Armed Robbery Suspect

Sedona AZ (August 10, 2016) – The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is seeking to locate Michael Monyer, 32, about an aggravated assault and robbery incident. Monyer and his wife are estranged and she has moved out of the area. Yesterday, Monyer drove to his sister-in-law’s home in the Poland Junction area north of Mayer, and took her cell phone at gunpoint. He has since made death threats to his wife’s extended family.

Deputies obtained a $100,000 warrant for Monyer’s arrest which allows extradition from anywhere in the nation back to Yavapai County.

Suspect details:

Michael Nicholas Monyer, 32 years old, is 6’04” tall and weighs 175 lbs; brown hair, blue eyes, last known to live in the 13300 block of East Main Street, Mayer, AZ.

Vehicle information: 2012 Jeep Liberty, grey, Arizona License BJZ4718.

Monyer has friends and family in Phoenix, Mayer, and Seligman, Arizona.

If you see the suspect, call 911 and remember he is armed and dangerous. Do not approach.

    He is GUILTY!! Judge & jury seen right through his unbelievable lies. Karma……28 years…..he said an insane act was called for. He sure showed the jury just how insane he is.

    My husband is a wonderful husband and father.The justice system as failed my family and put a wonderful innocent person in prison.For the people who lied on my husband God will reveal the truth.My family stays United in faith in God and the truth.God will not allow evil drug addicts to prevail. My heart is with my daughter who just wants her daddy home. And for those who lied on him and put him in prison may you repent to God and ask for forgivness.May God help you to do the right thing and tell the truth.All I ask and want in this world is for my husband to come home and raise our beautiful child and for us to have a peaceful life together.

    My husband is a wonderful person he is innocent.The justice system as failed us.My husband is a loving,kind,father.We stay strong knowing God will reveal the truth and he will be home with his family where he as always belonged.For those who lied on him and put him in prison for false charges.We pray you all get off the drugs that have plagued you for nearly 20 years.And finally tell the truth.The Monyer family stays strong,loving and praying for the day,that my husband comes home to raise our beautiful daughter.
