Village of Oak Creek Welcomes YCSO Substation Deputies

Sedona AZ (October 31, 2012)Yavapai County Sheriff Scott Mascher announces an Open House at the newly remodeled Village of Oak Creek Yavapai County Sheriff’s office substation in Sedona, ArizonaSheriff Mascher welcomes all local residents, business owners, and community members to tour the new facility.

The YCSO substation has a full time squad that consists of one Sergeant and four patrol Deputies. It began operations in the VOC on September 2, 2012.

The primary responsibilities of the full-time VOC squad are to respond to calls for service, traffic enforcement, patrolling its assigned enforcement area and policing the community. There will be an opportunity to meet and greet the newly formed VOC squad, if deputies are not responding to calls outside the area.

The open house is scheduled for November 7, 2012 between 12:30 PM until 2:30 PM. The substation is located in the Castle Rock Plaza, 6446 Highway 179, Suite 217, Sedona Arizona 86351. Refreshments will be served.

The office is staffed by YCSO Office Coordinator, Judy Valentine:  Substation hours of operation for the office are Monday through Friday from 8 AM until 4 PM. Deputies will work out of the substation 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office looks forward to the Village of Oak Creek continued and improved service.
