Sedona AZ-Sedona’s Village of Oak Creek will lose two longstanding businesses within the next two months. Mulligan’s Restaurant, located in the clubhouse facility of the Village of Oak Creek Association, failed to have its lease renewed by the homeowner’s association and will soon close its doors to the public. At this time, the owner has no plans to re-open the business in a new Sedona location. Designs West, a furniture store located on Route 179 in a strip shopping center, is in the process of a “going out of business sale” and will close by April 1, 2011. Designs West management indicated that its Flagstaff, Arizona location will remain open for business.

sad sad sad we liked mulligan’s (never bought anything at designs west) & had fun at mulligan’s oktoberfest this past fall. it will be tough on the locals losing those jobs
my guess is that mulligans and the furniture store bowed out of high rent leases with unresponsive landlords and yes it is tough to lose those jobs with nothing else available
