Cottonwood AZ (November 17, 2013) – As the Fourth Annual Warm Clothing Drive for Veterans and Children draws near to closure, the need for children’s clothing is apparent. The drive, hosted by the American Legion Post 135 and Auxiliary, will continue through November 20, 2013.

On November 21, adult coats and sweaters for both men and women veterans will be distributed from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System located at 501 South Willard Street in Cottonwood. Later that same day, the children’s items will be given away to any child from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the local Food City, Cottonwood.

Until November 20, donations can be dropped off at the Cottonwood Food City Grocery Store (AZ 89A) or the Super Clean Laundry (Maytag) located at 790 South Main, Cottonwood. A collection container is located in each store.

For more information concerning the drive or donations, please call 928-649-3374.
