Sedona AZ (September 16, 2013)Want to be a part of the newest holiday tradition in Sedona? Check out Tinsel Town at Posse Grounds, a walk through holiday light display! This event is brought to you by the City of Sedona Parks and Recreation department in conjunction with Holiday Central Sedona.

Businesses and organizations have two opportunities to participate. If you choose to be an exhibitor and create a holiday light display at one of the nine ramadas, the City will provide the location and electricity for a cost of $50.

Or, become a sponsor for this event at a cost of $500, $1500, or $5000 and, in return, your business and or organization name will be displayed with the City’s event advertising as well as listed as a sponsor for Holiday Central Sedona and the Sedona Chamber of Commerce advertising.

Depending on the level you choose, your donation will be used to pay for a themed light display or multiple displays at this event. Your business name will be recognized at the display(s) location that you sponsored. Sponsors will also have the option to decorate a ramada.

The holiday light display will be open to the public every Thursday through Sunday in December. For more information on becoming an exhibitor or sponsor, contact City of Sedona Parks and Recreation (928) 282-7098 or visit www.SedonaAZ.gov/Parks.

How much to put a business name on a manger, angel or Wise Man’s camel?

@Betsy: most likely what it means is that maybe, just maybe, this year there will be enough “takers” to get this event in motion but after that it will most likely become another annual financial burden that this city will take on. So much for solving the storm drainage issue when such monumental projects like this take precedence.
