Flagstaff AZ boy, Marcus Gishal, is missing and the public’s help locating him is requested.

Flagstaff AZ (December 3, 2012) – *SEE UPDATE COMMENTS 12/6/12 – Coconino County Sheriff’s Deputies and Detectives are requesting assistance from community members in locating thirteen year-old Marcus Gishal who lives in the Doney Park area. It is believed that Marcus voluntarily left his residence on Burris Lane without the permission of his guardians.

According to the reporting person, Marcus went to bed at about 9:00 pm on Friday, November 30, 2012. A family member checked on him at about 1:00 am and learned he had left the residence at an unknown time between the hours of 9:00 pm and 1:00 am.

Marcus is an eighth grade student at New Start School and did not arrive at school on Monday morning, December 3, 2012. Investigators are considering the possibility that Marcus may attempt to travel to the California area, specifically San Francisco.

Marcus Gishal is described as a Thirteen year-old Native American male, approximately five feet in height (5’) weighing about one hundred pounds (100 lbs) with short black hair and brown eyes. Marcus wears prescription glasses. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, jean pants and Converse “All Star” shoes.

It is believed that Marcus will be carrying a large black duffle bag with the words U.S. Army imprinted on the outside.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Marcus or the circumstances regarding his absence is urged to call the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office at 928-774- 4523.
