National Grid

National Grid Control Room

Sedona AZ (August 26, 2013) – The Berkshire-Litchfield Environmental Council wrote, “The smart grid is increasingly understood as an over engineered, ill-advised, financial boondoggle at taxpayer expense, capable of endangering the security of the entire national grid, violating constitutional privacy protections and endangering public health. In addition, the smart grid/metering has not been found to save energy when all the new variables in the system are factored in. Plus, time-of-use pricing is largely punitive to those who can least afford it. Time-of-use pricing is fundamentally a Wall Street model designed to maintain shareholder profits as we transition to more energy efficient models that will reduce demand.”

On September 9, 2013, Sedona Smart Meter Awareness (SSMA) in concert with Patrick Schweiss, Director of the Sedona International Film Festival, invites all to the Mary D. Fisher Theatre, SR 89A, west Sedona, Arizonato attend the Arizona premiere of the full length documentary, Take Back Your Power, produced and directed by Josh Del Sol. The admission is free with ticket, a gift from supporters of Sedona Smart Meter Awareness to you.

take back your power movie posterTake Back Your Power is an eye-opening documentary which investigates the “smart” meter program currently being implemented worldwide by most of the major utility companies. These devices are being installed often without the consent – and sometimes against the protests – of property owners. This film uncovers alarming issues about health, privacy, property rights, corporate fraud, and vulnerability issues inherent in the “smart” grid.

Following each of the 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM shows, the audience will have the opportunity to participate in a discussion and question and answer period. Call 928-282-1177 or email your ticket request to Operations@SedonaFilmFestival.org.

“The smart grid is an interlocking web that will monitor and control all of the electrical appliances in your home at all times. Based on wireless technology, the privacy ramifications, health effects, and opportunities for outright government control inherent in the smart grid agenda are staggering,” said Josh Del Sol in a May 2012 Canadian radio interview.

  1. Kyle,

“See this”, what does that mean? What are you going to do to make a difference and that goes for everyone that makes a statement like “I like this” so ………. what are you doing to make a difference?

Generally, words without actions are the traits politicians, what will make you different?
