Polo, a gray cat, was at the shelter for over a year when Gloria Rothrock saw his picture at the bank. She didn’t want the responsibility of a pet but she couldn’t shake the memory of Polo’s eyes. When she came in to visit she fell in love and took him home. Polo spent the first week under the bed. He ventured out once and selected a small afghan to pull under the bed, almost like a security...
