Sedona AZ–In the Village of Oak Creek Factory Outlets, Taco Bell faced a visually challenging location within the shopping center, a small fast food restaurant tucked in a rear back corner, primarily visible if passed on foot. Coupled with the downturn in consumer spending and the loss of many “big dog” stores that once served as anchors to draw customers for the boutique stores and shopping center eateries in the Village of Oak Creek factory outlet center, Taco Bell struggled. The nation chain closed its local store in July, another business loss for Sedona in 2010.
