States Rights Requires Yes on Prop 122

Attn: Letters to the SedonaEye.com Editor

Subject: Proposition 122

Editor;

The Verde Independent contained two letters to the editor on October 12: One for and one against Proposition 122 – One pointing to the Federal Government’s overstepping its bounds leading solidly toward a Socialistic (Totalitarian) Nation and the other criticizing those that support the State for attempting to curb the negating of the “Bill of Rights” by the Federal Government.

It is unfortunate that we have come to this juncture in any way shape or form because the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution (Bill of Rights) plainly states: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” Now what part of that is hard to understand?

Even a “Constitutional Professor” like Barack Hussein Obama should be able to understand that plain and simple provision; however, it appears to be as confusing to the “Beltway Bureaucrats” as the first few words of the First Amendment “Congress shall make no law respecting” – – – .

The thing that is amazing to me is – that with all that has been laid out in the Constitution insuring “States Rights” the United States Supreme Court which is supposed to “Interpret the Constitution” and “Insure that it is followed” have taken it upon themselves to make the Federal Overstepping of States Rights commonplace.

U.S. House of Representatives

Instead of the “States” being “United” and jointly protected, the States are being dictated to by an “Overinflated, Overstepping and Out of Control Central Government” that was inadvertently given far too much power with the ratifications of the Sixteenth and Seventeenth Amendments to the Constitution (in 1913), which by the way, neutered and negated almost all of the “Built-in Watchdogs” that were designed to protect and defend the States and the Citizens of the States from any Ego-maniacal or Narcissistic Dictator-types that would ever be in the top echelons of the Federal Government. A government that most of or at least a lot of the “Founders” looked at as a necessary but very dangerous “Monster” that needed to be kept under control at all times or it would destroy the very Liberty and Freedom that built it.

The primary destruction is being carried out today with the Multiple-Marriage of Government to: Mainstream-Media, Banking, Business, Religion, Communication and Transportation; and, with the major segment of the population overly involved in “Making a Living, Entertainment, Sports and accepting the Destructive-Duo of Apathy and Pettiness” the future starts looking dim; however – there is some hope because it appears as though some “Conservative Principles” are starting to resonate across the country.

Arizona State SealIf the Constitution were strictly followed by the Federal Government there would be no need for anything like Proposition 122; unfortunately the Constitution is being sidelined for Political Expedience, which makes it necessary to for the State to take this action.

Please get informed and Vote [√ Yes] on (Arizona) Proposition 122.

“Voting” in this country is a “Blood Bought Right”; “Informed Voting is a Duty” “Uninformed Voting is a Privilege that can destroy the very fabric of the Blood Bought Rights.” Thus, if one does not know what they are voting for or against, it is better for the country if they leave that line blank. The one thing we should not do is to expect Politicians and Government to Self-correct; we, too, just like the Founders’ need “Divine Guidance and Protection.”
