Social media is an umbrella term that defines the various activities that integrate technology, social interaction, and the construction, words, pictures, video, and audio (Wikipedia). Simply put, social media is a fancy way to describe activity occurring on the Internet that allows people to have conversations and share ideas, photos, video and audio clips.

The 23rd Pinal County Town Hall will focus its attention on this new way to communicate with your neighbors, customers, and the world. During the course of the event, Town Hall will help delegates answer some of the following questions:<

If I use social media, what’s in it for me? Why should I care?

What are the dangers of social media?

How do I conquer my fear of using this new form of communication?

What are the risks and rewards of social media?

How is social media technology being used today and how will it be used in the future?

How can I use it to improve my business, connect with my local government, or build personal connections?

How can social media be used to further educational opportunities?
