Seligman Shooting Suspect Arrested

William Martin in custody for Seligman shooting

Seligman AZ (October 25, 2012) – The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce the arrest of 48-year-old William Martin who was identified as the suspect in this case: follow this link to original story https://sedonaeye.com/award-for-suspect-who-shoots-at-family-driving-near-seligman

Since the October 20, 2012 incident, YCSO personnel in Seligman, partnering with detectives from the Criminal Investigations Bureau, developed information linking Martin to the shooting. The quick identification was also aided by Seligman area deputies who maintain a valuable knowledge base of community occurrences resulting from their long term assignments.

This morning, YCSO SWAT team members served a warrant at Martin’s residence near Conquistador and Echo Lane in Bridge Canyon Estates, Seligman. Martin was arrested without incident and several firearms were recovered. The investigation remains ongoing.

Martin was booked at the Camp Verde Detention Center on charges including 4 counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Bond has not been set as of this writing.
