For the entire month of July, all Wednesdays will be wet at the park. Join your friends at the Posse Grounds multi-use field between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to run and play on the green grass with the sprinklers on. Nothing feels as good as cool water on a hot summer day!
Pack a picnic, play on the playground, run in the water and relax under a shade tree. The City of Sedona wants everyone to enjoy an afternoon at its local community park.
The first Wet Wednesday of summer 2012 happens to be the Fourth of July! To celebrate this great American holiday in a Sedona park, Wet Wednesday will be extra fun - a giant inflatable water slide and an inflatable slip-n-slide will be set up for the kids to enjoy.
After the Wet Wednesday park sprinklers turn off at 1:00 p.m., walk over to the Sedona Community Pool for a recreational swim. Summer recreation swim time is only $2 for children and $3 for adults and available from 1:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
As a special holiday incentive to enjoy a Wet Wednesday, on the 4th of July only, Recreation Swim time at the pool will be free! The Sedona pool is located at 570 Posse Ground Road behind the West Sedona School.
Let’s all enjoy National Parks and Recreation Month by taking part in Wet Wednesdays on July 4, 11, 18, and 25 at the Posse Grounds Park multi-use field, 525 Posse Ground Road, west Sedona. Come one, come all.
