Sedona AZ (October 14, 2015) – At the October 13 City of Sedona Council meeting, Mayor Sandy Moriarty announced that the city will join municipalities across the state of Arizona and take part in the League of Arizona Cities & Towns’ 14th Annual Cities & Towns Week, October 18-24, 2015. The entire community of Sedona is encouraged to learn more during that week about the services and programs the City offers to improve the community’s quality of life.

“Our city works around the clock to provide vital services to make Sedona a safe and exceptional place to live, work and play,” said Mayor Moriarty. “Participating in Cities & Towns Week offers our community an important opportunity to join together with cities and towns across the state to highlight local government’s essential contribution to our citizen’s daily lives.”

Cities & Towns Week is set aside each year to provide citizens with important information about the services and programs provided by their city/town, and to recognize the employees that deliver them. For more information on the city, please visit www.SedonaAZ.gov.
