OLLI is a dynamic organization within Yavapai College created to meet the needs of intellectually active mature adults.  What makes OLLI a unique learning experience is that there is no pressure of tests, grades, or papers.  It is a warm gathering of people who are endlessly curious and love to learn.

OLLI’s Lunch & Learn series is a free, informative, midweek event that is open to all members of the community.  It is an opportunity for local residents to gather, chat, and learn the “inside story” on a wide range of topics. Participants are encouraged to bring their lunches to the event.

  1. SR89A has an Anti-Litter Advocate Group says:

Our Folksville USA effort is strictly non-political and includes people from all political parties, we leave our politics at home in our effort to restore the beauty to America the Beautiful. We are giving all media organizations progress reports as we proceed. I have ask all of our participants to let me know who wants to hear our story so I can provide them information.

While in New York this summer, I delivered the Folksville USA / Road Warrior story and press releases to CNN, NBC, WNYW Fox 5, WABC-TV, WLIW21 New York Public Television Fox News Channel and ABCLA. It is our hope that when they will contact us as we prepare to tell our story very soon.

We are now a group of people who have or are currently restoring the BEAUTY to over 45 miles of highway. What makes us unique is how our volunteers are picking the litter up and recycling the contents. We are saving our ADOT Highway Maintenance workers considerable time not having to deal with disposing of litter bags on the sections of highway we have claimed as our own.

Find me another group that does that!

    Gary Chamberlain
    Mayor Folksville USA
