Sedona AZ (June 6, 2011)-For the first time ever, the Sedona Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with Sierra Adventure Sports, is bringing Red Mud Run to our community. Mark your calendars for this fun outdoor event scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Posse Grounds Park, 525 Posse Grounds Road, West Sedona.
Sedona residents registering in the month of June 2011 will receive a five dollar discount on the Red Mud Run registration fee of $50.
The Sedona Red Mud Run will be a challenging 2.7 miles of fun and excitement taking participants on foot (over and under and around and through) multiple obstacles ending in a mud pit! Participants can fly solo or grab a friend and teams of 1, 2 or 5 people are encouraged.
The Red Mud Run is designed for people of all levels of fitness. All registrations are accepted through Sierra Adventure Sports at www.mmrsedona.eventbrite.com. The link can also be found on the City website at www.SedonaAz.gov/Parks. Information is also found on this website’s Calendar of Events.
