Sedona AZ (June 15, 2012) – Mark your home and property maintenance calendars! As part of the City of Sedona Pre-Monsoon Inspection and Clean-Up Program, the City has scheduled drainage debris collection days.
The City will allow roadside placement of vegetation, wood, and similar material that has been removed from its targeted pre-monsoon drainage clean up areas. City designated clean up areas now include Airport Road/Saddlerock, Brewer Road/Ranger Road, Cardinal Lane, Coffee Pot, Cypress Drive/Lewis Way, Harmony, Little Elf, Rim Shadows, and Tlaquepaque.
Beginning Monday, June 25, 2012 and continuing through Wednesday, June 27, 2012, the City will remove drainage debris from its targeted areas. It will also collect drainage debris Monday, July 2, 2012 and Tuesday, July 3, 2012. In the event the City cannot remove the debris, property owners and residents will be notified to dispose of the debris.
The City encourages recycling and is working with Sedona Recycles during this program to remove recyclable materials left alongside roadways.
