Sedona Parks and Recreation Offers Dance Classes

City of Sedona Public Notice

Sedona AZ (September 11, 2012) – The City of Sedona Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to be working with dance instructor Mari Elmer to offer four different dance classes for Sedona’s young people.

Beginning Wednesday, October 3, 2012, dance lessons will be held in the Recreation Room at Posse Grounds Park, 525 Posse Ground Road in west Sedona.

With twenty-three years of dance instruction experience, Mari is excited to begin teaching Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz and Technique for youths 9 to 18 years of age. She has danced in Denmark, Krasnodar, Moscow and Leningrad, Russia. Her resume spans from teaching dance at Disneyworld to Harvard University including many colleges and high school dance teams.

Classes will be held at the beginning of each month on Wednesday and Thursday. Class times will be dependent upon class and age. For more information, reference www.SedonaAZ.gov/Parks or call the Parks and Recreation Department at 928-282-7098.
