Sedona AZ (March 14, 2014) – The City of Sedona Parks and Recreation is reaching out to Sedona veterans and the families of Sedona veterans wanting their names or the names of loved ones inscribed on the Sedona military service park granite walls. To date, there are 195 names inscribed at the Park and new inscriptions are expected to be completed in time for the changing of the flags on Memorial Day, May 26, 2014.

Please contact the Parks and Recreation department at 928-282-7098 before April 9, 2014, to receive the inscription application. The inscription form is also available online at www.SedonaAZ.gov/Parks with a clear explanation as to the documentation necessary from applicants.

The purpose of the Sedona military park is to honor all Sedona men and women who have honorably served our great country in times of peace and during war. All five branches of the U.S. Armed Forces are honored in the park. Completion of this Jack Jamesen Memorial Park project will be an asset to our community.
