Sedona AZ (June 3, 2015) – Build your way to an awesome summer with Play-Well TEKnologies Lego Engineering Summer Camp! This new and exciting camp is being held at the Posse Grounds Park Recreation Room, Sedona, Arizona, for two sessions.
Camp One is July 6 through 10 and Camp Two is July 20 through 24, 2015: Age categories for both sessions will be 5 to 7 and 8 to 12 per camp session.
Camp One is Pre-Engineering using Legos for ages 5 to 7 from 9:00 a.m. to noon joined by ages 8 to 12 with Engineering FUNdamentals from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 in the afternoon.
Camp Two (ages 5 to 7) will enjoy Jedi Engineering Using Legos from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. while ages 8 to 12 hone Jedi skills with Jedi Master Engineering Using Legos from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Play-Well’s Jedi instructors reinforce key engineering concepts such as gear trains, worm drives, pneumatics, eccentric motion, and more as students tap into the powerful forces of imagination and engineering.
The registration deadline is June 29 for Camp One (July 6 to 10): Camp Two (July 20 to 24) registration deadline is July 13. The cost is $150 per child per session.
Registration ends soon and spaces are filling up fast, so don’t miss out! Registration is accepted through the City of Sedona Parks and Recreation Department at 928-282-7098 or come to the office at 525 Posse Ground Road (near the tennis courts) in west Sedona.

City of Sedona Centurylink Fiber Installation on Forest Road and SR 89A Notice-
The City of Sedona has been notified by Centurylink that on Monday, June 15 they will begin fiber installation on Forest Road and SR 89A. Construction will start at 9 p.m. and shut down at 6 a.m. to lessen the impact to traffic. Work is to be complete June 30.
Flaggers and traffic control devices will be utilized to help control the flow of traffic safely through the work zone. Please slow down and obey all flaggers and traffic control devices.
