Sedona Hosts Open House on Draft Parks Alcohol Policy

sedonacitySedona AZ (April 13, 2010) - The City of Sedona Department of Parks and Recreation will host an open house to accept comments on a draft alcohol policy for City parks. Community input on the draft alcohol policy will be considered by the Parks and Recreation Commission and the City Council when it comes forward for their consideration.

The open house will be held on Monday, April 19, 2010, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the apple packing shed at Jordan Historical Park, located at 735 Jordan Road, uptown Sedona. This is an opportunity for park user groups and citizens to express opinions on the draft policy on a drop-in basis. If you are unable to attend the open house, comments will be accepted by telephone or email until Wednesday, April 21, 2010.

Copies of the draft will be available at the open house and are on the City’s website at www.SedonaAZ.gov. For more information or to comment, contact Parks and Recreation at 928-282-7098 or email Andi Welsh at awelsh@SedonaAZ.gov.
