Sedona AZ (April 19, 2011) – The Sedona Fire District Board is accepting applications from citizens to form a Chapel Station exploratory and design committee. The Committee will be comprised of not more than seven (7) citizens and not less than five (5) including one or two (1 or 2) Fire Board member(s) and one (1) SFD staff member.
Committee member applicants must be registered voters and residents of the Sedona Fire District (SFD) which includes Red Rock Loop Road Area, West Sedona, Chapel area, Uptown Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon and the Village of Oak Creek.
After formation, the committee will create a meeting schedule to conform to its members time constraints. In order to comprehensively explore this subject, the Sedona Fire District may ask up to a six month commitment (longer may be required) to be a member of this committee.
