Sheri Graham, Chairperson of “Let the People Vote on 89A” confirmed the following to our Eye on Sedona news desk Saturday, May 7, 2011:
“Let the People Vote on 89A” have sufficient numbers of Initiative petition signatures to support it being placed on a Special Election Ballot in conjunction with the Referendum petitions that have been certified by the City.
The petitions will be turned into the Office of the Sedona City Clerk on Monday afternoon, 3:00 PM, May 9, 2011, after which it will take approximately one month for the signatures to be certified as valid.
The Sedona City Council has the Special Election date of November 8, 2011, on the Consent Agenda for the council meeting on Tuesday, May 10, 2011.
