Sedona Director of Community Development Job Opening

Sedona AZ (October 3, 2012) – The City of Sedona Arizona is seeking applicants for the position of Director of Community Development. The full-time job posting is as follows:

  • The Director of Community Development plans, directs, manages and oversees the activities and operations of the Community Development Department; provides highly responsible and complex administrative support to the City Manager, City Council and appointed public bodies; and coordinates assigned activities with other City departments and outside agencies.

This position reports to the City Manager and exercises direct supervision over management, supervisory, professional, technical, and clerical staff. The Director acts as city liaison for Planning and Zoning, Housing, Historic Preservation, Sustainability Commissions, and the Board of Adjustment.
