Sedona AZ (March 12, 2013) – Sedona Scout Troop #48 Leaves No Trace!
It was my pleasure to witness Sedona Boy Scout Troop #48 on Arizona State Highway 89A between Cottonwood and Sedona on February 2, 2013, restoring the beauty to “America the Beautiful” and Arizona Scenic Highway 89A.
Being very experienced at litter abatement, I was more than impressed with how much trash Troop 48 packed into the blue ADOT trash bags…in fact, after four years of witnessing other garbage pick-up groups, these young men “WIN” the record for the “most trash placed into a 33 gallon trash bag!” I do not believe that any group ever has ever put more trash into seven ADOT trash bags than this group!
Great job Sedona Boy Scout Troop #48! Your community proudly acknowledges your effort on its behalf.
