Sedona Approves 89A Route Transfer Resolution

Sedona AZ (August 13, 2010) – On Tuesday, August 10 2010, the Sedona City Council unanimously approved a resolution directing City staff to begin negotiations with the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) regarding a route transfer of portions of SR 89A within the City.The Sedona City Council also approved a $41,000 professional services contract with CivTech Engineering for the purpose of preparing a report that analyzes and makes recommendations regarding the pedestrian, bicycle and motor vehicle safety needs of West SR 89A in Sedona and provides a cost of range for their construction and maintenance, consistent with the revised scope of work.
