High risk sex offender Jason William Nay is living in Prescott AZ as a transient
Sedona AZ (September 30, 2013) – The Prescott Arizona Police Department is releasing the following information pursuant to ARS 13-3825, the Community Notification on Sex Offenders Law. The sex offender in this publication, Jason William Nay, has indicated that he will be living within the City of Prescott and is categorized as a Level 3, High Risk, to the community.
It is the responsibility of the Chief Law Enforcement Officer having jurisdiction where the offender resides to notify the community. Notification must be made when certain sex offenders are released from the Arizona State Prison, accepted under an interstate compact or released from the county jail back into the community.
Level 3 sex offender Jason William Nay has been convicted of a sex offense which allows for community notification. Prescott Police Department received notification through the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Department that Nay will be living as a transient in the City of Prescott:

HEIGHT: 5’11” WEIGHT: 235

ADDRESS: Transient – Downtown Area
VEHICLE: None known at this time
Nay was convicted in 2001 in Colorado after engaging in sexual activities with a 17 year old female. He was sentenced to probation and 11 months in jail.
Nay has been convicted of failing to register as a sex offender three times in Colorado, Utah and Arizona.
Nay is currently on probation. He is not wanted by the Prescott Police Department at this time.

All you out there yapping at the heels of tax dollars to create space in Sedona for this guy, put a tent in your own backyards. He needs to be in a major mental institution & not a little towns nicey nicey shelter manned by the same ilk that run its nicey nicey drug rehab centers where cure is an unknown state of being. This man does not deserve the empathy that you are giving him. He has been a transient since he was 18 – always moving from state to state, comes up with lies to make people believe that he is “reformed” and “terminally ill” all to make you feel sorry for him. He is a master manipulator, drug abuser & a serious mental case. Stay away… stay far FAR away.

This man is sick he lived in utah and abused an 11 year old girl the little girl was so scared to tell on him because he was her mom and dad’s friend

Wow makes me sick that all these people have him so completely right. I personally know him and he is not a OK guy. Definitely needs help and also stay on his meds. I would love to know how you all know him.
He’s currently in CALIFORNIA, possiblyin the city of Pomona.. He rented a room from me. He couldn’t pay his rent and tried to sue us for harassment which was totally untrue. Judge told us to pack up his stuff, set it outside and change the locks. He was packed up and gone once we got back from court.
We later found out he’s absconding from AZ and he’s a HIGH RISK SEX OFFENDER.
I wish we knew this before to save us the hassle of eviction court cost, and time.
Two young girls he had contact with were very uncomfortable around him. That’s says A LOT.
