Sedona AZ (September 25, 2014) – Due to the ongoing renovation of the exterior of the Prescott Courthouse, effective Monday, September 29, 2014, the East (Cortez Street) side entrance of the courthouse will be completely closed off and inaccessible to the public.

The main public entrance leading into the courthouse will be temporarily relocated to the first floor on the West (Montezuma Street) side of the courthouse under the staircase. Only visitors with limited mobility or who are wheelchair bound will be allowed to use the ADA accessible entrance located under the stairwell on the South (Goodwin Street) side of the courthouse.

When exiting the building, the main exit will be located on the second floor of the West side. Those on the first floor or with mobility issues can exit through the law library on the first floor of the South side.

Signage will be placed around the building and plaza area to help direct visitors and employees. This temporary arrangement is expected to last until early November 2014, when the entrances will be changed back to their original configurations.

We appreciate patience during this time and apologize for any inconvenience. If you have questions, contact Superior Court Administration at 928-771-3483 or Yavapai County Facilities Department at 928-771-3115.
